Gugulethu Mbatha (better known by the name Gugu-Mbatha Raw) is an British actress and film star that became popular when she was a part of the BBC series "Doctor Who" which is the British science-fiction TV series. Gugu's part in the show as Tish Jones was extremely popular. Tish Jones is the younger sister of Martha Jones. Her fans loved her lively energy and spontaneity, and there was no stopping Gugu after a successful career in acting! Gugu has also appeared in several other British television and stage productions till this point. Her performance in the role of Belle (2013) for the British period drama 'Beyond The Lights' as well as her outstanding role on the romance drama "Beyond the Lights' have been praised by critics. Apart from starring in American movies like Tom Hanks' comedy 'Larry Crowne", she also played on TV shows like 'Undercover and Touch'. Gugu Mbatha Raw was in the show "Nell Gwynn" written by Jessica Swale as an actress and also as the mistress of King Charles II. The performance was highly praised by critics who complimented her acting talent. Gugu won the Evening Standard Theatre Award as the Best actress. Gugu's talents in the field of drama were recognized by Queen Elizabeth when she named her a Member of the Order of the British Empire.
Chelsea Joy Handler was conceived on the 25th of February, 1975 and was born in Livingston New Jersey. She was one of the six youngest children. Handler's father was a used car dealer, and her mother was a housewife. Her mother was an German immigrant who came to the United States in 1958. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in the year 1989. She passed away after fighting cancer for the past ten years. Her father is Jewish as was her mother. She raised up Reform Judaism. Handler was born in an area that was nice, and had a joyful childhood. At the age of 19 she moved from the city of her birth to Los Angeles to pursue her acting profession. Handler started acting to earn income. Handler's ability to write stories came into play as she reached the age of 21. Handler then decided to dedicate her entire career in stand-up comedy. At the beginning of her career Handler began her stand-up career in the Oxygen network's all-female cast of an undiscovered camera/real-life joke TV series Girls Behaving Poorly. The reality series ran from 2002-2005. The host began to appear on different shows such like Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started her career as a journalist on The Tonight Show. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006, when she began running her own talk show for E! The show was named the Chelsea Handler Series. The show lasted during two consecutive seasons. Handler performed on Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour the next time across the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have broadcast her live stand-ups. She was named as the host of 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. In this way, she became only the second female to host the VMA's following Roseanne Barr.
