Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix had an early aptitude for sports when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting ability at the at the time. Only 10 weeks after her first tryout she came third in the 200-meter race during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003 Felix graduated from high school having signed a professional contract with the company that makes sports Adidas before enrolling in the University of Southern California where she was studying elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic prize at the 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s which set the new world junior record. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the youngest woman to be crowned the winner of the 200-meter race. In 2007 she defended this title and beat her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently in the top 3 in her various races during the Olympics that took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
